This games/activity room addition was very outdated and needed a revamp. The owners also found that this addition made the adjoining family room very dark.

I started by removing all the outside cladding, moving the two existing windows further to the sides and then inserted a third window between them.

Once all the cladding had been replaced and a new coat of paint applied the outside of the games room now looks a lot fresher. The extra window has provided much needed light into the adjoining family room and the owners love that they can now stand in their family room and kitchen and look out into the garden.

The addition of the new window and moving the original windows to the side required some repair work to be done to the gyprocking inside the games room. I then applied a couple of coats of paint and installed some skirtings. The owners were very happy with the new look.
